Second Year - Starting AY2008
This matrix applies to students whose Quarter 1 starts in Fall AY2008 and beyond
Courses in the second year (together with the two Concentration Area courses from Q4) should be tailored around completing concentration block requirments and other thesis requirements. Concentration blocks should be selected based on anticipated future assignments, thesis requirements and student interest.
The thesis advisor should serve as the primary source for recommending concentration blocks and tailoring the matrix as needed.

NOTES:
5. MV4460 will be offered only once per year. Spring entrants take MV4460 in Q6.
6. Concurrently with OA4657, students will also register for and take the MV4924 seminar.
7. Elective courses should support thesis research or follow-on assignment.
8. For USN taking JPME, one elective will be one of the four required JPME courses.
