The Scenario Authoring and Visualization for Advanced Graphical Environments (SAVAGE) Research Group Lab is a working space where students, staff and faculty can collaborate, experiment and demonstrate ideas related to modeling and simulation (M&S) on the web. We focus on Extensible Markup Language (XML)-based interoperability and Extensible 3D (X3D) Graphics applications, using a variety of large display devices: domes, interactive projection systems, large liquid crystal displays and even sound. Demonstrating practical solutions to real challenges in M&S, we have hosted foreign and domestic dignitaries, flag officers, and fellow scientists, as well as students from local schools and beyond.
