Chi Systems' iGen cognitive system architecture is now available for free use for DoD uses. This would include thesis/research use at NPS.
This is a very capable architecture for emulating human decision-making processes and problem-solving skills. It can provide a great way to incorporate high level AI without spending your entire thesis/research project writing AI code.
