The MOVES Institute at NPSThe Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California is a graduate university attended by all the United States Armed Services, the Department of Homeland Security and numerous international allies. Two Earn George Phillips Award The George L. Phillips Modeling, Virtual Environments and Simulation (MOVES) Award is presented to the graduating MOVES student or students with the most well-rounded record with respect to the Naval Postgraduate School MOVES program. Congratulations to MAJ Eric Whittington, USMC and LT Ryan Rippeon, USN who are recipients of the George Phillips Award for the September 2008 graduating class. Information on the award as well as past recipients can be found here. Bahraini Officer Earns MOVES Ph.D. Congratulations to Lt. Col. Waleed Al-Mannai of the Bahraini Air Force who received his doctoral degree in Modeling, Virtual Environments and Simulation. He becomes the sixth person to receive a MOVES Ph.D. from the Naval Postgraduate School. Full story is here.
